Series R117

Series R117 - Tube, openable along the inner radius, from both sides

1. Effective swarf protection, even hot hot swarf
2. Smooth chip-repellent outer contour
3. Double stop-dog system for large unsupported length
4. Side opening lids and covered pin/bore connection
5. Lateral gliding surfaces for side-mounted operation
6. Lids openable along inner or the outer radius
7. KMA mounting bracket with attachment options from any side
8. Good ratio of outer to inner dimensions

R117 Series is suitable for the following types of applications:

Vertical: Hanging applications, standing applications
Horizontal: Unsupported applications ≤ 1.2 m
Circular movement: Rotating applications possible, may require machining (machining rework is always required from rotation angles of 180°)

When to use Series R117

If a chip-repellent e-tube with 21 mm inner height is required
If an inner width up to 100mm is required
For unsupported lengths up to 1.2m and fill weights up to 1.5kg/m
If an affordable e-tube is required that is openable from the inside or outside
If front attachment is required
For small bend radii

When not to use Series R117

For quiet run and smaller pitch
