Flange lead screw nut
Our flange lead screw nut is a secure fastening solution for precision applications. The flange lead screw nut should be tightened to a maximum torque of 2.5Nm and ideally secured with a third medium, such as liquid thread-locking glue. In addition, dryspin flange lead screw nuts are safeguarded against rotation and axial movement. They are not suitable for a press-fit, however, as this could negatively affect thread clearance. Our flange lead screw nut is made from maintenance-free iglidur materials and therefore suitable for temperatures from -20°C to +90°C (up to +150°C, depending on the material). In addition to flange lead screw nuts, igus also offers a wide range of cylindrical, low-clearance and special lead screw nuts. Combining them with the right dryspin lead screws allows operators to achieve efficiencies of up to 82% and a service life that is up to 30% longer than that of conventional lead screw drives.
