Lead screw support
dryspin lead screw support ensures the secure and precise mounting of lead screws in your systems. Our dryspin SLS lead screw support blocks are corrosion-resistant, lightweight and available in various designs - each suitable for thread sizes from 6 to 24mm. All lead screw support blocks are made of anodised aluminium and are available with maintenance-free iglidur plain bearings or ball bearings (BB), allowing for lubrication-free, long-lasting operation with minimal maintenance.
Fixed-bearing, floating-bearing and ball bearing variants of the lead screw support are available, so that it can to be optimally adapted to different loads and movement requirements. While the fixed-bearing support block secures the lead screw axially and radially, the floating bearing allows for axial length changes, such as those caused by temperature fluctuations. Ball bearing support blocks are ideal for higher speeds and motorised drives, ensuring smooth, efficient lead screw operation.
