Robust, vibration-dampening for high loads and a long service life

The concept of the linear plain bearing differs from the linear bearings with recirculating ball bearing guides in the type of movement. Plain bearings don't roll, they slide. The bearing elements are not separated from each other by rolling steel balls, but slide directly on the rail or shaft without rolling elements.
